Here’s the clean version of the card I made for, er, Max Affinity Day, as presented on Shulk’s blog! Okay, it’s a terrible joke, I’m sorry… But I couldn’t help it, hehe.

“Reyn? Well, for starters, he really ought to listen to me when I say dinner isn’t ready! If I could only count all the times he either left none for the rest of us behind my back, or every time he got a stomach ache because it wasn’t even cooked yet…! There’s a time for everything— especially in Reyn’s case, I guess, but when I’m preparing the meals, the food is not done until I say it is!”
“… Okay, okay. You know, he’s a really great guy. People tend to know him as that one big lug, but I don’t know anyone else who’s got our back like he does! Growing up with him, I can tell you that he’s really come a long way since our journey began. But even since the start… I did trust him, and never doubted he’d keep his word to protect Shulk.”
“And that’s not the only reason why I’m so thankful for Reyn, of course. The others tell me all about the adventures they had while I was still away… I’m sure we wouldn’t have gotten so far without him. I’m real happy that we’ve got a friend like Reyn.”

i can’t

Aaaand here is my Secret Santa gift to tumblr user suashi! I think I got carried away again… But I know how much you love Journey (I do, too!), and you said Melia was your favorite character in Xenoblade, so I took the opportunity to mash up basically the two best games of 2012. I hope you like it!

In some random train of thought, the last ask made me wanna make this. ❤ It’s transparent, so I don’t know how well that’ll work out… Maybe I’ll make one with a background color later.

“I don’t think I’ve ever tried to cook him bad food on purpose. But… I’d be lying if I said I didn’t try to feed him something weird every now and then.”

“You can’t blame me though! I’m on a tight budget, and sometimes, some ingredients just aren’t in season. I gotta make do with whatever I have, right?”

“Though I think I’ve tested him enough in a way, through cooking better food and seeing if he can tell how hard I try… And between you and me, it seems he’ll eat just about anything and like it… But don’t think too much about it. In the end, I’d never feed him anything I wouldn’t eat. It’s the number one rule of being a good chef!”

Which reminds me, I did draw a Fiorapon a while back. I’ll just put this here while I continue to drown in school work and cry over the fact that there’s asks that have been sitting in my box for a few months now. And so help me Meyneth I WILL GET TO THEM.
